Intergrate UptoLog

UptoLog is installed as an integrated part of your production environment. The UptoLog servers UptoLog Log Server and UptoLog Search Server is installed on the same or separate servers in your environment. While UptoLog Database is installed as a database instance on your MS SQL server.

UptoLog Satellite is integrated into your C# or VB.NET applications and thereby enables the applications to save logs in UptoLog Log Server. UptoLog Satellite can be integrated into the following .NET application types: client, web and web service application.

After UptoLog Satellite is installed on the development client, the UptoLog Satellite component is found under: Windows Start menu --> UptoLog Satellite --> UptoLog Satellite library.

UptoLog Satellite is added to a project by creating a component folder in the project and copying the two files UptoLog.Satellite.dll and UptoLog.Satellite.xml to the folder. Afterwards a reference to UptoLog.Satellite.dll is created in the project(s), which should use UptoLog Satellite.

Integrating log4net with UptoLog Satellite
